McKenna and Brady were married in Southlake Texas, near Dallas.
It was so hard for me to pick just a few pictures!
The pictures, taken by Erin Melissa Lawlor, are so romantic and whimsical. Erin Melissa, from Nashville, made the trip out to photograph the vintage inspired wedding.

The wedding was on a $10,000 budget. The couple penny pinched and used a wedding planner in the process to help make this fabulous budget wedding a success. Every detail, from the flowers in McKenna's hair down to her shoes, were perfect.

It’s hard getting a ton of pictures in a limited amount of time. And to get the picture you WANT is even harder. “But how can I get the pictures I want?” You may ask. Here are our suggestions:

1.    Make sure you get the right photographer. Look through their look books and see if its what you are “looking for”

2.    Pick out pictures from their portfolio that you like.

3.    Find pictures on the web that you like, print them out, and show them to the photographer. This gives them a better idea that you are looking for.

Just keep in mind; you don’t have all day to take pictures. An idea we see a lot of brides doing, taking more pictures another day. You have the dress, re-rent the tux, and see if the photographer will do a discount to do an additional day. Yes, your hair will be different, and your makeup may change, but pictures last a lifetime, more is better than less.

The wedding is over and now you have a million pictures to sort through. You want to document them all, but now that you’re married, let’s be honest, you’re busy! That’s where Bonny from “Scrap That!” comes in.  Bonny specializes in scrapbooking, organizing photos, and finishing albums. The easiest part? All you have to do is mail the pictures to her and she takes care of the rest. Her work is so amazing that she was recently commissioned by Pixar Animation Studio. Check out her website and see other pictures at

Bonny works out of the San Francisco Bay area, but serves anyone in the continental U.S. E-mail her with any other questions at [email protected]

The Concord wedding show was a success!  I saw at least 40 brides, there was a fashion show, and the cupcake and hair giveaway were a hit.  And the free hair updo goes to...Sarah!

We are offering a discount for all weddings booked in November and December.  Check out our packages for more details.

Also exciting is that we are now offering linens to rent.  Take a look at the current inventory and if we don't have what you need we can get it.  Our prices are unbeatable!

Looking for a cheap way for guests to say "Congrats!"
But at the same time something unique?
Well we have some ideas to spice it up without going over budget.

One idea is the traditional book, where guests sign.
Another is taking pictures of each guest and designating them a page in a photo album.

Now here are 2 ideas that are unique!

"Thrilled for you" is a company that makes a guest book online. All you need is a webcam and a computer or laptop. (Macs with camera work best) "Thrilled for you" has layouts that look like frames and for only $99 you will have everything digital. OR for even cheaper, you can use or borrow a Mac and do it yourself!

A cute vintage idea would be to use a typewriter. It may be difficult to find one, but the results would be super cute.
